Polk County Senior Games/SilverArts
North Carolina Senior Games began in 1983 with a vision to create a year-round health promotion and wellness education program for adults 55 years of age and better (the age is now 50+). Now there are 52 local Senior Games locations, serving all 100 counties in North Carolina!
Polk County Senior Games and SilverArts is organized by Polk County Senior Services and is sanctioned by North Carolina Senior Games. Participants who qualify in their Local Games are invited to participate in State Finals in the Fall. Each 2 years, State Finals qualifiers get the opportunity to represent North Carolina at National Senior Games.
