Public Notice

On May 10, 2021, the proposed Budget for the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 for Polk County, NC was distributed to the Board of Commissioners, and is available for public inspection in the Womack Building at the Clerk to the Board’s Office weekdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Notice is hereby given that on June 7, 2021, at 5:00 PM the Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Budget, in the R. Jay Foster Hall of Justice, second floor of the Womack Building, located at 40 Courthouse Street, Columbus, North Carolina.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment on the proposed 2021/22 budget.  If you cannot attend the meeting, you may direct your comments on the proposed budget in writing to Angé High, Clerk to the Board, ahigh@polknc.org or P.O. Box 308, Columbus, NC 28722.

Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Recommended Budget The Polk County Board of Commissioners met at 9:00 am on Monday, May 10, 2021 in the R. Jay Foster Hall of Justice, Womack Building to receive the County Manager's annual recommended budget. There will be a Work Session to discuss the Annual Budget on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the Womack Building.
